Artist about the art

Kamchatka. In my project, I've chosen to forego traditional landscapes, even if they are visually captivating. My focus lies on scenes where the imprint of human intervention on the environment is evident.
In our contemporary everyday environment, human activity dominates, leaving only a small fraction of untouched wilderness. My project zeroes in on this disproportion, drawing attention to how humans impact the environment. In photographs taken in remote regions like Kamchatka, we witness nature still asserting its dominance, preserving its grandeur and beauty in stark contrast to our human presence.

These images serve as a reminder of the need for careful stewardship of nature and the pursuit of sustainable coexistence with the world around us. My project calls on viewers to contemplate the consequences of our actions and inspires a search for ways to achieve harmony between humanity and nature.
