About the author
My name is Roman Chernysh, I have been in Cyprus for the last two years. My journey in photography is 3 years, but actually longer. I developed a real interest and love for photography when one day at home I came across an old film Zenit. I took memorable moments from travel, beautiful places, random people and became so immersed in photography that it became not only my hobby, but also my main activity. I feel very subtly what my photography should be, what genre and meanings I want to express through this process and what techniques I want to achieve this. I want to make this a tool for exploring the facets of personal beauty through body aesthetics. Minimalistic and poetic. My story and path are at the very beginning and I believe that it will bring me a lot of interesting things.
About the art
Description: My photographs were created from the inspiration I find in nature and the human beauty of the body. By combining frames into collages, I tried to show that people are inseparable from nature. This close connection permeates us with the Earth and everything in this Universe. Crystals of sea salt in sharp volcanic stones or a flower bud in the night, as if a pulse of light breaks the darkness of space, the shapes and lines of naked bodies in the landscape of the surrounding nature. We are created from the same elements, we are one matter and our origins and our future are in pure awareness of this.
